In line with the Academy’s distance learning teaching methodology, tutors and head tutors will carry out their specific teaching functions intended at assisting the learners to achieve the specific learning objects stated in each module. In addition to the regular tutorial functions, head tutors play an active role in standardizing and the marking of examinations (see attached Terms of Reference of Tutors and Head Tutors).
Based on the WIPO Academy’s approved list of tutors, 8 tutors have been selected to teach on-line participants of the DL-204 WIPO Academy Advanced Course on Biotechnology and Intellectual Property.
