As agreed with the Director General of the Sudanese Intellectual Property Office and with the PCT International Cooperation Division of WIPO, the Workshop will focus on basic procedures under the Patent Cooperation Treaty and would cover the following topics:
•Introduction to the PCT System;
•International Phase, Chapter I:
–The request form;
–formal requirements;
–time limits and fees;
–international search;
–supplementary international search (SIS);
–international publication.
•International Phase, Chapter II:
–Filing of the demand;
–International preliminary examination.
•PCT Electronic Filing (PCT-SAFE) and other e-Services;
•National Phase;
•The International Patent Classification. |
