Training on all aspects of digitization of IP records, including the relevant standards, formats, scanning solutions, indexing, optical character recognition (OCR), available WIPO tools and systems and the specifications of the required IT infrastructure elements to support digitization;
Training on International Classifications, in particular, Nice, Vienna and Locarno classification systems in the context of the search tools and databases provided by automation system as well as advance training on the International Patent Classification system (IPC);
Discussions with the IPO Pakistan officials on automation matters including, implementation of the subsequent planned automation activities, ICT infrastructure, IPAS upgrade and planning of the actual digitization of IP records. |
