In the message of March 10, 2017 Mr. Toni Bonici, Deputy Chief,
Cooperation and Partnerships Section, United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), invited WIPO to participate in the 2nd UNECE International PPP Forum, to be organized in Hong Kong on May 9 to 11, 2017.
This year, the UNECE will host the 2nd International PPP Forum, aiming at reviewing and further developing the international PPP standards for sustainable development and bringing together the international project teams that develop standards and model templates for partnership projects (preliminary program of the meting attached). The forum is also an important opportunity to continue to network and to explore the role WIPO could play in promoting IP dimension of the innovative partnerships.
In the view of the above and in consultation with the colleagues concerned from the External Relations Division, it is proposed that Ms. Monika Zikova undertake the mission and attend the said event. |
