Description: |
The Intellectual Property Rights (DGIPR), Indonesia, requested the assistance of WIPO to develop its capacity building programs and organize a training workshop on the Nice and Vienna Classifications, to take place in Jakarta from August 25 to 29, 2014. After consultations with the counterparts at the Korea Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and the colleagues concerned from the Global Infrastructure Sector (GIS), a WIPO mission will be fielded to conduct the requested training in Jakarta, Indonesia, for five days from August 25 to 29, 2014. The proposed training will be part of the on-going effort to assist Indonesia in building capacity in the area of trademark examination. Further to the sub-regional workshop on the Nice, Vienna and Locarno Classifications which was held in Indonesia in June 2013, it will provide enhanced training on the two main classifications, with an emphasis on practical exercises, the need for which was noted from last year’s participants’ evaluation questionnaires |
