1-UAE Industrial Property Department (Patents Office) – Ministry of Economy – UAE: Start the deployment of IPAS system for Patents, undertake initial data migration and place the system for testing and evaluation by the office in preparation for full production stage. The mission will also discuss and conclude steps with local implementation authorities for the development of online filing services that should be launched with IPAS production.
2-Registrar General of Intellectual Property – Ministry of Justice – Sudan: The activity comes within the framework of the IP development Plan concluded between the government of Sudan and WIPO in 2013. In implementation of its automation component, the mission will carry out deployment of IPAS system at the office and provide training for the staff on its use. |
