(1) National Seminar on the Development of a National Intellectual Property Strategy for Indonesia, on September 11 and 12, 2017
Objectives: (i) To present the initial findings based on desk research, survey and first series of consultation meetings at the national level and to get these validated by all relevant ministries, government agencies and stakeholder groups; (ii) to discuss the way and steps forward in drafting, revising and finalizing the draft Strategy; and (iii) to share experiences of other countries in the implementation of national intellectual property strategies and exchange views thereon.
(2) Consultation Meetings with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property and National Experts – September 13 to 15, 2017 (tentatively)
Objectives: (i) To share expertise and knowledge with the national team of experts and DGIP about WIPO’s methodology and tools, and the formulation process; (ii) to discuss and agree on the next steps in drafting the Strategy and define individual responsibilities on the same; and (iii) to exchange views of optimal implementation arrangements for the Strategy after it is reviewed and adopted by the Government.
