Under the IPOBSD approved work-plan for 2017, the workshop comes as part of the WIPO initiatives across regions, to organize regional technical events bringing offices in the region to share their experiences and learn from achievements at neighboring offices. The event will also provide offices with WIPO guidelines and recommendation to maximize utilization of IPAS and its modules based on IPOBSD projects’ experiences and update the offices on recent product releases and their capabilities in particular on areas of e-services and potential establishment of regional IP database in the Arab Region, following also interest raised by Jordan. |
