The Government of Antigua and Barbuda is in the process of reviewing its patent legislation, and in this sense, in 2016, upon their request, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) provided some comments on their Patent Law and Regulations. In this regard, Ms. Ricki Camacho, Registrar, Antigua and Barbuda Intellectual Property and Commerce Office, requested by letter of September 21, 2017, (see attached copy), further WIPO’s assistance for holding some consultations in capital in order to better understand the different legislative options illustrated in such comments. |
