WIPO in collaboration with the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) is implementing the above mentioned project in the United Republic of Tanzania. The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the economic, social, cultural and technology development of the beneficiary countries and, ultimately, to alleviate poverty. The outcome of the project is enhanced human resource capacities able to deal with the broad range of requirements for the effective use of Intellectual Property (IP) for development in developing countries, LDCs and countries with economies in transition. |
