To promote understanding of IP ADR and the use of WIPO ADR clauses and services in China and the region, it is proposed that the Center, with the support of the WIPO Office in China, organize two one-day WIPO Mediation and Arbitration Workshops, on October 18 in Beijing and October 20 in Shanghai. The events will also provide another opportunity to promote the 2016 WIPO ADR Rules in the region. To encourage maximum participation, it is proposed that no registration fee be charged.
Conference facilities in Beijing and Shanghai will be made available by the Beijing Intellectual Property Office and the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, each of which will also provide simultaneous interpretation services. |
