The Copyright Infrastructure Division is preparing a concept document on individual rights management. The document will outline new developments and possibilities for WIPO to undertake work in relevant areas. An important contribution has been made by Nicholas Garnett, former IFPI Secretary General and author of several WIPO documents on copyright in the digital environment.
It is hereby proposed to invite Mr. Garnett to Geneva for a consultation meeting. The purpose of the meeting would be to review his written submission on the topic, and in particular the proposed follow-up actions, initiatives, documents and activities. |
