This memorandum seeks your approval to finance the travel of the Chair of the Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR), Mr. Martin Moscoso, to Geneva to participate in drafting meetings and consultations regarding proposals and documents being prepared for the SCCR/32 session.
2. Mr. Moscoso would be present to assist the Copyright Law Division on working documents and proposals, including the Chair’s Proposal on a draft treaty for broadcasting organizations, and the Chair’s working charts on principles related to libraries and archives, and educational and research institutions. Limited consultations with Geneva mission representatives will also be part of this process. |
