How to Participate
How to Join WIPO Re:Search as a Provider, User, or Supporter
Providers
Neglected tropical diseases are debilitating and often life threatening. The task of developing treatments for--and perhaps even preventing--such diseases, which disproportionately affect the least developed countries, is critically important.
Providers to WIPO Re:Search have this mindset. These organizations joined the initiative because of a desire to improve the health of the poor around the world, and to aid in the development of new medicines for diseases with little or no commercial market.
If you think you can contribute something towards the above goal _ knowledge _ , compounds, patents, services _ you can be a Provider.
All potential Providers of WIPO Re:Search must indicate:
- their intention to contribute assets to WIPO Re:Search Database
- their commitment to the Guiding Principles, in writing to the Secretariat (Global Challenges Division, WIPO, 34 chemin des Colombettes, 1211 Geneva 20, Switzerland; or by sending an email with the same information) providing suitable personal or corporate identification and contact details.
- Providers determine, at their own discretion, what data to make available and license, subject to the Guiding Principles, in order to allow research, development, use and/or manufacture of products and/or services.
