| Abstract: |
A rain-gutter cleaning system (100) has an agitator head (102) that is mounted to the top end of a long suction tube (122) and pole (108) and supported aloft by them. A vacuum pump (118) on the ground is connected to bring rain-gutter debris down the suction tube (122) and into a collection bag (120). The agitator head (102) includes rotating paddles (210, 212) that tear and break up tangles and clogs encountered in a rain gutter and has a rotating auger screw (220) inside that helps direct the loosened debris down the throat of the suction tube (122). A camera (104) mounted atop the agitator head (102) allows an operator on the ground below to see the inside of the rain-gutter on a small monitor screen (116). |
