(EN) The present invention concerns an improved mandrel (4) for forming metal materials, polymers or composites by extrusion which consists of a rotary cylindrical mandrel with alternate bulges and recesses along its longitudinal axis respectively defining the working parts (12) of a calibrated diameter and recessed areas (13) for a lubricant suitable for the extrusion rate and nature of the extruded material. It is applicable in particular to the manufacture of metal tubes. (FR) La présente invention concerne une aiguille (4) perfectionnée pour le filage de matériaux métalliques, polymères ou composites par extrusion, caractérisée en ce qu'elle se compose d'un mandrin cylindrique de révolution présentant suivant son axe longitudinal une alternance de ventres et de creux définissant respectivement des parties travaillantes (12) d'un diamètre calibré et des zones de réserve (13) pour un lubrifiant adapté à la vitesse d'extrusion et à la nature du matériau extrudé.
