| Abstract: |
A French sash comprises a wing pivotally mounted in a casement (window frame), iron furniture (window hinges and latches) and a lock mechanism actuated by the window handle, in particular a connecting rod lock with corner guiding. To ensure both adjustable, continuous ventilation and soundproofing, parts (101, 102) arranged on the wing (17 ) and on the casement (18) interlock when the window is closed to form a hollow profile frame (1) containing a passage (2) communicating with the interior and with the exterior and which can be pivoted by means of a flap (3) actuated by the window handle (4) and by a lock mechanism, the principle of which is known from the state of the art. |
