| Abstract: |
(EN) The invention relates to mobile communication appliances for determining distances from other mobile communication appliances, mobile terminals or base stations. The invention especially relates to a mobile communication appliance which uses duplex transmission in wireless short-range networks with clocks or timers of relatively low precision, in order to determine rapidly and precisely the distances from and between the other mobile communication appliances, and to determine its own respective position and the positions of the other mobile communication appliances by means of trilateration. The invention also relates to methods for determining the distances between mobile communication appliances. (DE) Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf Mobilkommunikationsgeräte, die dafür geeignet sind, Entfernungen zu anderen Mobilkommunikationsgeräten, Mobilendgeräten oder Basisstationen zu bestimmen. Insbesondere betrifft die Erfindung ein Mobilkommunikationsgerät, das eine Zwei-Wege-Übertragung in drahtlosen Nahbereichsnetzen mit Uhren oder Zeitgebern relativ geringer Genauigkeit verwendet, um schnell und genau die Entfernungen zu und zwischen den anderen Mobilkommunikationsgeräten, und mit Hilfe der Trilateration die eigene Position und die Position der anderen Mobilkommunikationsgeräte zu bestimmen.
