| Abstract: |
(EN) This is a spherical windmill with channels which is fitted with a movable central deflector (12) pointing with its tip forward (13) facing the wind by virtue of its off-centred centre of gravity (G). This windmill counter-rotates and thus benefits from the whole of the surface swept by the wind. In another version, the deflector has variable geometry so as to partly regulate the speed and to turn aside to a greater or lesser extent depending on the force of the wind. This windmill has the following advantages:- robustness due to its triangulated structure, - better integration into the environment, low sound emissions, - adaptation to high speed winds coming from all directions.
