Title: RELUCTANCE MOTOR
Abstract: In a reluctance motor there is provided a moving support, for example a rotor (1), a pendulum (14) or a piston (16), provided with at least one magnet (2). To this magnet (2) moving with the support (1, 14, 16) is associated, at a meeting point located on the periphery of its trajectory, at least one fixed magnet (3, 3') which, controlled by the motion of the support, exerts on the moving magnet (2), each time they meat, a repulsive and/or attractive motion pulse. In order to increase the output of such motor, the fixed magnet (3, 3') and/or the moving magnet (2) are placed, during the support motion, in a state providing a pulse. The magnet providing the pulse (3, 3') may be, to this effect, a magnet mechanically displaceable into a position providing a motion pulse or a temporary energizable electromagnet, of which the displacement, respectively the energization, is controlled intermittently by the motion of the support (1, 14, 16).
