Non-Working Days at the International Bureau at the End of the Year
It is recalled that the non working days at the International Bureau (IB) during December 2013 and January 2014, in addition to the weekends, will be:
– Wednesday and Thursday, 25 and 26 December 2013
– Wednesday and Thursday, 1 and 2 January 2014
The publication schedule for that period, as well as the last days on which applicants’ communications must reach WIPO in order to be taken into account for the purposes of international publication, were published in PCT Newsletter No. 10/2013, page 5. The dates of operation of the PCT Information Service and the PCT e-Services Help Desk are given below:
PCT Information Service
The PCT Information Service will be closed from 24 December 2013 to 2 January 2014, inclusive. It will reopen on Friday, 3 January 2014 at 9.00 am, Central European (local) time (CET).
Please note, however, that if you call the PCT Information Service (telephone number: (+41-22) 338 83 38) during the holiday period, there will be a recorded message providing a telephone number for cases requiring urgent attention. It is recalled that the PCT Information Service answers general inquiries about the filing of international applications and the procedure to be followed during the international phase of the PCT (questions relating to specific applications should be addressed to the PCT Processing Service). PCT e-Services Help Desk
The PCT e-Services Help Desk will be open on:
– Monday and Tuesday, 23 and 24 December 2013
– Friday, 27 December 2013
– Monday and Tuesday, 30 and 31 December 2013, and
– Friday, 3 January 2014
although it will operate reduced opening hours on those days, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm, CET. It will revert to its usual hours, that is, from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm, CET, on Monday, 6 January 2014.
