PCT-SAFE Update

Release of new version of the PCT-SAFE Client software

A new version of the PCT-SAFE Client software (version 3.51.044.220), dated 1 January 2010, may now be downloaded from the PCT-SAFE website at:

http://www.wipo.int/pct-safe/en/download/download_client.htm

This version (“build 220”) includes the following changes:

• new PCT Contracting State Thailand (TH) as from 24 December 2009;
• information on the National Industrial Property Institute (Chile) (RO/CL), the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Intellectual Property (Peru) (RO/PE) and the Department of Intellectual Property (Thailand) (RO/TH) as receiving Offices;
• improvement in the validation of sequence listing files (for electronic filing) for compliance with Annex C/ST.25;
• enhanced character rendering for certain special characters for fully electronic applications filed in xml format;
• updated fee schedules for all Offices; and
• other minor functionality and graphic user interface enhancements and PCT updates.
