Modes of payment of supplementary search fees to the International Bureau

Supplementary search fees payable to the International Bureau include:

– supplementary search fee (PCT Rule 45bis.3)
– supplementary search handling fee (PCT Rule 45bis.2
– late payment fee (PCT Rule 45bis.4(c))

The International Bureau no longer accepts payment by check with effect from 1 January 2017.  Any check received on or after this date will be systematically returned to the issuer.

All fee payments are acknowledged and include the contact details of the authorized officer processing the application.
