Abstract:

(EN)Provided is an atmospheric electron particle beam nozzle, with a nozzle body having a lumen disposed therethrough; an electrode that is disposed within the lumen, optionally concentrically with the nozzle body, to define an output chamber within the lumen that encompasses the electrode. Also provided is an atmospheric electron particle beam system that provides: a nozzle, that supplies a nozzle body having a lumen disposed therethrough; an electrode disposed within the lumen, optionally concentrically with the nozzle body, to define an output chamber; an RF generator that is in communication with a transformer having a number of turns and connected to a vacuum variable capacitor, and connected electrically to the electrode; and a fluid source that supplies the nozzle with a fluid. Also herein is a method of projecting an electron beam, by projecting an electron charged fluid sheath over a distance, and projecting the electron beam within the sheath.
(FR)L'invention concerne un générateur de faisceau de particules électroniques atmosphérique, le corps du générateur comportant un espace intérieur creux; une électrode étant disposée, facultativement de façon concentrique avec le corps du générateur, dans l'espace intérieur creux, pour définir une chambre de sortie dans l'espace intérieur creux qui entoure l'électrode. L'invention concerne aussi un système de faisceau de particules électroniques atmosphérique comportant : un générateur dont le corps comporte un espace intérieur creux; une électrode disposée, facultativement de façon concentrique avec le corps du générateur, dans l'espace intérieur creux, pour définir une chambre de sortie; un générateur RF en communication avec un transformateur comportant un certain nombre de spires et connecté à un condensateur variable sous vide et raccordé électriquement à l'électrode; et une source de fluide qui alimente en fluide le générateur. L'invention concerne également un procédé de projection d'un faisceau d'électrons qui permet de projeter à distance une gaine fluide chargée d'électrons et de projeter le faisceau d'électrons dans la gaine.
