Abstract:

(EN)A method of determining prothrombin time (PT) in a whole blood, anti-coagulated blood, blood plasma or anti-coagulated blood plasma sample at an ambient temperature in the range of 15°C to 45°C is described. The method is performed with liquid reagents and the PT, preferably expressed as International Normalized Ratio (INR), is calculated based on said temperature and the clotting time (CT). A test kit is also described for analysis of PT which comprises temperature recoding means, and one or several separate sealed vessels containing reagents, optionally in lyophilized form for reconstitution prior to use, for clotting one or more defined volumes of whole blood, anti-coagulated blood, blood plasma or anti-coagulated blood plasma sample, and optionally time registration means and volume determining means.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de déterminer le temps de Quick (PT) dans un échantillon de sang total, de sang anti-coagulé, de plasma sanguin, ou de plasma sanguin anti-coagulé à température ambiante comprise entre 15 et 45 °C. Ce procédé est mis en oeuvre au moyen de réactifs liquides et le PT, de préférence exprimé en Rapport International Normalisé (INR), est calculé en fonction de cette température et du temps de coagulation (CT). Une trousse de test permet aussi l'analyse du PT et comprend des moyens d'enregistrement de température, et un ou plusieurs récipients hermétiques séparés contenant des réactifs, facultativement sous forme lyophilisée en vue de la reconstitution avant l'utilisation, afin de coaguler un ou plusieurs volumes définis d'échantillon de sang total, de sang anti-coagulé, de plasma sanguin ou de plasma sanguin anti-coagulé, et facultativement des moyens d'enregistrement du temps et des moyens de détermination du volume.
