Third party observation in the PATENTSCOPE search system

A “Submit observation” link now appears in bibliographic data tab of the PATENTSCOPE search system (for international applications from the date of international publication until 28 months from the priority date). This new third party observation service of PCT’s interactive system ePCT offers an effective way for third parties to bring relevant prior art to the attention of applicants, International Authorities and designated Offices during the international phase of PCT processing.
