Graduate of the National School of Administration and Judiciary: Judiciary Section, 1987.

Employment: Non-Hierarchical judiciary

  • Court President.

Experience relating to literary and artistic property law.

Seconded to the Ministry of Culture and Leisure, responsible for matters of copyright and related rights, since January 19, 1995.

Mrs. DIABE SIBY occupies the post of Director General of the Senegalese Copyright Office (BSDA):

  • Former President of the African Committee of the International Confederation of Authors and Composers Societies (CISAC),
  • Member of the CISAC Governing Council;
  • President of the West African Network of Authors and Composers Societies;
  • President of the Sub-Committee on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property of the National Multilateral Negotiating Committee since 2002;
  • Trainer at the Higher Institute of Art and Culture since 2008, Masters in Cultural Policy and Intellectual Property, Cultural Industry and Contracts in the Cultural Industry.

  • Présidente du Réseau Ouest Africain des Sociétés d’Auteurs et de Compositeurs ;
  • Présidente du Sous Comité Aspects des Droits de Propriété Intellectuelle qui touchent au Commerce du Comité National des Négociations Multilatérales depuis 2002;
