The Office republishes only notifications of international registrations when and if protection is granted and only publish the international registration number when notification of renewal is received from the International Bureau.

Absolute and relative grounds.

Three months commencing on the date of publication in the Norwegian Trademark Gazette (non-extendable).

Three months from the date of notification by the Office (extendable).

In case of a refusal administrative procedures in the Office with two Instances and a possibility of a judicial review.

Oppositions may be argued before the Office (at the First Department, and appealed in the Board of Appeal).

The decision of the Board of Appeal may be brought before the respective national courts.
