Republication	The Office does not republish notifications of international registrations, subsequent designations or renewals received from the International Bureau.
Examination Procedure	Provisional refusal based on absolute grounds.
Opposition Procedure	Opposition procedure started in the Italian Office from May 2011
Time Limit for Responding to Provisional Refusal	Three months from date of issue of notification of refusal sent by the Office (extendable).
Administrative and judicial remedies in case of refusal issued by the Office	Within 3 months it is possible to submit objections to the provisional refusal. When the refusal is definitive it is possible to file an appeal to the Board of Appeal (within 2 months from the date of refusal)
