The Office accepts all of the class headings of the Nice Classification.

Local representation is required for all persons without permanent residence or an establishment in the territory of Georgia.
List of local registered patent attorneys.

For collective marks, the Office requires the charter of ownership of the holder.

No specific procedures.

If examination has not taken place at the time the request for transformation has been filed, the Office examines the application on absolute and relative grounds.
The normal application fees are payable.

Not required.

Recording in the International Register of a trademark license is not effective in Georgia. The national law does not provide for recording in the National Register of licenses in relation to an international registration.
