The Office accepts all of the class headings of the Nice Classification in respect of international applications.
|Representation before the Office||
Local representation is required if the holder of the international mark is not a person or entity with a domicile or establishment in the European Union.
|Collective and Guarantee Marks||
Regulations governing the use of the mark must be sent directly to the Office within six months from the date of international registration.
Recording of replacement takes place upon written request, filed with the Office. No fee is required.
If the transformed mark has been granted protection in France, the Office examines on formalities only, but if the protection for the transformed mark has not been granted, the Office carries out the normal examination.
