The Office republishes in the Danish Trademarks Gazette notifications of international registration, subsequent designation and renewal received from the International Bureau.

Absolute and relative grounds. In regards to relative grounds, the Office provides the applicant with a search report, which on request, will be examined by the Office free-of-charge.

Two months from the date of publication in the Danish Trademarks Gazette (non-extendable).

Four months from the date of notification of provisional refusal sent by the Office (extendable).

Refusal of protection may be appealed to the Board of Appeals. This decision may be reviewed to the Maritime and Commercial Court.
