A panel of knowledgeable practitioners will be on hand to guide you through the Madrid Protocol from a U.S. perspective on what the Madrid Protocol is and how it works. As our speakers share real world experiences, you will learn about the advantages and disadvantages of a Madrid Protocol registration and how it differs from the Community Trade Mark (CTM). This session will also include updates concerning recent "Madrid" issues at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and progress toward adherence by South American countries.
