IPCPUBPREP is the software package to prepare IPC internet publication. It was developed by WIPO for IPC authentic languages and national translations in the context of IT Operations and Support for the IPC.

1. It includes software component to provide features described IPC internet publication on-line help, and services described under its “URL based access” part http://www.wipo.int/ipc/itos4ipc/ITSupport_and_download_area/Documentation/IPC_Internet_URL_specification_V2_10.doc 
2. This package was used to generate the internet publication of IPC 2011.01 together with older versions of the IPC 
3. It was also used to generate some of the electronic by-products like the HTML static files for scheme and definitions available under http://www.wipo.int/classifications/ipc/en/ITsupport/Version20110101/index.html . 
4. Please note that the package and associated installation and operation documentation were customized to anticipate translation into national language of IPCPUBPREP user interface and IPC data.

ipcpubprep is made of 3 components:
-	Publication system: to serve published data to the web through the web application server.
-	IPC Data Publication Preparation: to generate data to be published from the Master files and IPC Warnings. It produces static files and populates the database and the search engine. (See architecture diagram below)
-	IPC Warnings editor: to capture information associated to specific IPC places (IPC Warnings). Data produced is used by the Data Preparation Publication tool.
