Main Findings
55% of students who download unlicensed software and other copyrighted digital files have experienced virus and spyware problems, 20% have also experienced hard drive crashes and 18% have lost documents or files. 55% report rarely or never paying for downloaded software, compared to 61% in 2005 and 68% in 2003.
