"Cracking Ideas" project: uses a combination of specific lesson plans, teaching resources and a dedicated website (crackingideas.com) to encourage innovation and creativity among pupils in the 4-7, 8-11 and 12-16 age groups

Spokescharacters: Wallace and Gromit

Learning resources: activity packs, innovation packs, "My IP" booklet

Creative competitions: annual "Cracking Ideas" competition; "Eureka Challenges" (four yearly)

Games: Sprocket Rocket (Help Wallace & Gromit collect cogs to fix their ship and fly to the moon! You'll need creative skills and some madcap ideas to constantly reinvent your rocket and overcome obstacles along the way!); Invention Suspension (Wallace is working a top secret new contraption, but it needs a few finishing touches; can you help Gromit collect the missing pieces and complete their latest work of genius?)

Exhibition: "Wallace & Gromit present a World of Cracking Ideas" (April 2011-October 2011 Newcastle Life Science Centre; April 2010-November 2010, Glasgow Science Centre; Mar 2009 - Nov 2009, Science Museum London): the exhibition is designed to inspire a new generation of innovators in the UK and beyond; one of the primary objectives for the exhibition is to encourage positive respect for IP
