Anti-Piracy - Outreach Aimed at Retailers

Since its establishment in 1998, the No Fakes Pledge campaign has encouraged retailers to commit to not selling or distributing counterfeit or pirated goods. Apart from promoting a sense of pride among retailers who take part in the campaign, this initiative also aims at increasing awareness of intellectual property protection among retailers and consumers. All participating retailers post No Fakes stickers and tent cards in their shops. The No Fakes logo helps tourists and local consumers identify reliable retailers.
