| Examination Procedure |
The Office carries out examination on substantive grounds, other than novelty, on issues such as the definition of a 'design', public order and morality. |
| Opposition Period |
None. |
| Time Limit for Responding to Refusal |
Two months from the date of notification (extendable for periods of two months, if the request for extension is received by the Office within the prior time limit). |
| Effect as Grant of Protection |
The international registration has the effect as a grant of protection as from the international registration date. |
| Representation before the Office |
Holders may file documents or appear directly before the Office for all matters. The Office may require translation of correspondence into Danish. The Office does not maintain a list of IP agents or representatives. |
| Fees payable on division of the international registration |
Not applicable. |
