Fifth Session of the ACE

The fifth session of the ACE took place in Geneva from November 2 to 4, 2009, with representatives from WIPO Member States as well as accredited intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations. The Committee unanimously elected, for one year, Mrs. Rodica Parvu, Director General of the Copyright Office of Romania, as Chair.

The Committee focused its work on the agreed topic, namely, “Contribution of, and cost to, right holders in enforcement, taking into consideration Recommendation 45 of the WIPO Development Agenda”, supported by a series of expert presentations (WIPO/ACE/5/3 to WIPO/ACE/5/10).

The Committee agreed on a work program for its sixth session, as detailed in document WIPO/ACE/5/11.
