The Seminar provided in-depth training on core questions related to technology transfer and intellectual property (IP) commercialization. WIPO officials and national experts addressed critical issues such as, technology transfer and commercialization processes, identification of local key players of innovation and commercialization partners, and development and creation of new companies based on the knowledge created in universities.
The audience of the Seminar was technology managers, policy makers and scientists of technology transfer units in academic and research and development institutions and IP practitioners involved in commercialization of IP generated in universities and R&D institutions.
The conference brought together representatives of major universities in Lithuania, namely, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, the Kaunas Technology University as well as representatives of the Technological Park Sunrise Valley, Vilnius.
