The aim of the seminar was to raise the awareness on the benefits arising from the protection of design as an industrial property right, among the representatives of industry, applied art and art faculties, and other creative participants of our economy, in the field of design. The activity had to ultimately stimulate the increase of the number of design applications. Certain issues were concerned specifically, such as the relation of design and copyright, as well as the relation of design and three dimensional trade marks.
