How to Attend the Diplomatic Conference

The WIPO Diplomatic Conference to conclude a Treaty to facilitate Access to Published Works by Visually Impaired Persons and Persons with Print Disabilities will take place from Monday, June 17 to Friday, June 28, 2013. 

The Conference is open to Government delegations, representatives of IGOs and NGOs and others invited to the Conference.

Obtain Credentials and Letters of Appointment

Member state representatives will need to be provided with credentials, and, for signing the Treaty to facilitate Access to Published Works by Visually Impaired Persons and Persons with Print Disabilities, with full powers (see Rule 6 of the Draft Rules of Procedure of the Diplomatic Conference). The said full powers should be signed by the Head of State, the Head of Government or the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

IGO and NGO representatives will need to be provided with letters of appointment (see Rule 7 of the Draft Amended Rules of Procedure of the Diplomatic Conference). The said letters of appointment should be signed by the Executive Head of the Organization they represent.

Obtain a Morocco Entry Visa

Delegates, representatives of observer organizations and other participants are responsible for obtaining their own visas. As a general rule, the delegates, representatives of observer organizations and other participants are required to obtain their Morocco entry visas at the Embassies or Consulates of Morocco in their respective countries.
