Seminar on the Proposed WIPO Treaty on the Protection of Broadcasting Organizations: From the Rome Convention to Podcasting

The seminar is organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Catalunya Broadcasting Council and the Barcelona Bar Association and with the support of ACT, AER, AERC, AIR, EBU and EGEDA.
It is designed to provide a forum for discussion among international experts and business leaders, academics, government delegates and policy makers to look at the current state of the technical, economical and legal realities in the broadcasting field. The Seminar will also provide an opportunity to share views about the impact of the WIPO draft treaty on the protection of broadcasting organizations.
