We are pleased to submit the attached comments of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) on the issues raised in WIPO RFC-2. We have also attached comments which AIPLA submitted to the United States Department of Commerce's "Proposed Rule on the Improvement of the Technical Management of Internet Names and Addresses" which is referred to in our comments on WIPO RFC-2.

We hope you will find our views helpful in WIPO's effort to develop recommendations on intellectual property issues associated with Internet
