This is a submitted comment on RFC-1. It
consists of a txt version of the htm files on
Internet Self Regulation that are at
http://www.endispute.co.uk
The materials describe a process or procedure
for developing and enforcing a "Law of the
Internet". The process uses arbitration under
English law. The arbitrators will develop the
Internet Law following common law principles of
custom and practice. Their decisions will all
be reported on the Internet and there would be
ample opportunity for the Internet Community to
comment and influence the development of the
law.
The arbitrator's awards would be enforceable
almost world wide under the New York
Convention. The process is not restricted to
dealing with Domain Name disputes.
