Curriculum Vitae - Mr. Alan Davidson
Alan Davidson is Associate Director and Staff Counsel at the Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT), a Washington D.C. public interest group that promotes civil liberties on the Internet. He currently leads CDTs projects on free expression, Internet governance, wireless privacy, and has testified before Congress and spoken widely on computer security and privacy. Trained as a computer scientist before joining the legal profession, Mr. Davidson was a Senior Consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton and served at the U.S. Congress Office of Technology Assessment.
Mr. Davidson is an alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Yale Law School, where he was Symposium Editor of the Yale Law Journal. He remains active in MIT alumni affairs, and recently completed a 4-year term as a Trustee of the MIT Corporation.
