Managing IP Counsel, Agilent Technologies

Peter Kurz is Managing IP Counsel at Agilent Technologies, based in Morges, Switzerland. He is a national of Germany and oversees Agilent Technologies' European Intellectual Property programs.

His prior positions include: European IP Counsel at Hewlett-Packard (from which Agilent Technologies was spun off in 1999), German IP Manager at Hewlett-Packard, and design engineer.

Mr. Kurz holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electronics (University of Stuttgart), a PhD from the same university and is a qualified European and German Patent Attorney. His publications include "Weltgeschichte des Erfindungsschutzes" (Cologne, 2000) and "Vertraulichkeitsvereinbarungen" (Cologne, 2004). He is lecturing at the ETH Zürich.
