Mr. M. Scott Donahey, a national of the United States of America, is a partner with Tomlinson Zisko Morosoli & Maser LLP. Mr. Donahey is a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Patent Board and of eResolution. He is a member of the panels of three of the four dispute resolution providers currently certified by ICANN to decide complaints regarding the abusive registration of domain names, and he is the author of the first decision issued under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy. He is on the panel of arbitrators for Large Complex Cases for International Cases and for IP/Technology Cases of the American Arbitration Association and is a member of the panel of arbitrators of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva. Mr. Donahey has been appointed by the American Arbitration as a special master to supervise a clean room operation for software development.
Mr. Donahey is the author of a number of articles on the resolution of intellectual property disputes and is a regular columnist on dispute resolution and electronic commerce for The IP Litigator, The Cyberspace Lawyer, and ADRWorld.com. He has lectured on the subject of Dispute Resolution in Electronic Commerce at the International Chamber of Commerce Institute of World Business Law in Paris and at the World Intellectual Property Organization Conference on Electronic Commerce and Intellectual Property in Geneva. He is an adjunct professor at the Santa Clara University School of Law, teaching courses on Law and Technology and International Dispute Resolution. Mr. Donahey has a J.D. from Santa Clara University, an M.A. from John Hopkins University and a B.A. from Stanford University.
