Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy

The application of the UDRP to .ML domain names appears to be subject to various provisions and practices at this domain, involving inter alia Freenom’s “Content Policy”. Based on WIPO’s current understanding from Freenom, the following is advised:

  • - for any issues concerning “free domain names”, and before filing of a UDRP complaint, complainants should first contact Freenom via abuse@freenom.com or copyright@freenom.com;
  • - for cases involving “paid domain names” where an ID Shield is in place, complainants may contact Freenom via abuse@freenom.com or copyright@freenom.com for Freenom to either lift the WhoIs privacy service or directly disclose the registrant’s personal details
