Development of Industrial Property Law

WIPO is committed to the development of international norms in the area of industrial property. Several committees help member States coordinate efforts in developing these international norms. Membership of the committees comprises member States representatives as well as representatives from selected intergovernmental organizations and international non-governmental organizations.

The Industrial Property Law Division provides support for the work of the following Committees:

• the Standing Committee on the Law of Patents (SCP);
• the Standing Committee on the Law of Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Geographical Indications (SCT);
• the Advisory Committee on Enforcement of Industrial Property Rights .
